Amie got in just fine, Dan (who was already in town for work and stayed the previous night) and I went to the airport to get her. After dropping stuff off, we went into the city, Downtown. Grabbed some lunch at a favorite Mediterranean place and took it to go to eat at City Hall Park:<\/p>\n

From there we headed up to Chinatown and Little Italy. Found a good deal on tshirts to send back to to the Philippines.<\/p>\n

From there we went through SoHo a bit, then took the train to Midtown. On our way to Rockefeller Plaza for our Top of the Rock visit, we came across the Philippine Mission to the US – basically the embassy. Of course a picture was required!<\/p>\n

Then it was on to Top of the Rock:<\/p>\n

Upon exiting, we saw a zamboni doing its thing on the ice rink. A picture was required…<\/p>\n

On our way to meet Adrienne (after her work day), we stopped by the office that Dan works in when he comes here:<\/p>\n

After resting the doggies for a bit in Bryant Square Park, we went on to a great Thai dinner at Topaz – it’s the same place we took Mom and Dad before the Broadway show when they visited. Then we made our way down broadway…<\/p>\n

and made it to Times Square:<\/p>\n
