He eats a special large food to help combat this, but we&#8217;ve also had to take him to get his teeth cleaned at the denti&#8230; er, veternarian. Today was cleaning number three. It&#8217;s a full, day-long ordeal: he&#8217;s put to sleep, IV, the whole bit. (Not to mention money flying out of the pocketbook&#8230;) But I was impressed with the care packet we got from the vet &#8211; it included a printout complete with before and after pictures of his teeth. It also, for the first time, included cat toothpaste &#8211; salmon flavored, and spray mouthwash, which seems to be mint-flavored.
