all the news that isn't

I unknowingly scheduled a training session with a new employee Halloween night, so I ended up working until 8pm. But when I got home Adrienne and I finally went about carving up the pumpkins we’ve had sitting on our kitchen table for a couple weeks. Here is a before (don’t worry, we didn’t carve the cat!):

Speaking of pumpkin pals, here’s pic of our kitties actually being pals and sharing the chair (Celli seems to like it more, but I think Dudley gets jealous, and sometimes kicks Celli off and takes it for himself).

And I figure most of you could care less about this, but one of my projects tonight was changing some of our shelves from a stacked vertical arrangement to a side-by-side horizontal arrangement. I like it better. And it makes room for the TV we don’t have! 🙂  (Never fear, audiophiles, I pull the speakers out about two feet for any serious listening.)

I should clean up the coffee table – looks more like an electronics table! Maybe tomorrow…
