As mentioned previously, today Adrienne and I did an 18-mile ride through Brooklyn. Though I figure by the time you add all the riding we did to get there, get to lunch afterwards, and get home, it was likely closer to a 25-mile day. Lots more pics after the jump.
Riders of all sizes joined in the fun.
We think this guy did the whole 18 miles! We also saw families – one father with three children in a modded bike, and one family that even had radio communication!
And bikes of all sorts:
We did see this guy finish, so he definitely did the whole 18 miles as well! Others brought their friends with them:
That’s Adrienne and Julie, one of Adrienne’s former classmates from Pratt. As you can see, Julie is a fellow Dahon fan. With about 2,000 riders, it did get congested at times.
We saw the sights, including Brooklyn’s Navy Yards, where lots of Navy ships where once built.
At the end of it all, we could all use a little nap.

Cool bikes as well (hope you get it back).
