Care to tell us a little about the pair you are wearing in the pic? New? Something I should consider if my feet are feeling weary?

David

They’re New Balance M992 running shoes. The thing is, I know what good shoes feel like, because I have them to run in. And yet, I’ve always cheaped out for casual shoes. But the difference between the $50 special at Kohl’s (also New Balance in my case) and the $100 running shoes – even for casual wear – is huge.

As with other things, I think most people don’t know the difference good quality can make (stereo equipment, anyone?). Sure, there are tradeoffs and sometimes we should be willing to accept them. But when it comes to the thing that you walk on all the time, I think we should be more thoughtful!
