There’s a Chinese-Mexican restaurant (huh?) just around the corner from us. They’ve had this sign out for what must be at least the last week, maybe more.

Yeah, that’s the delivery vehicle, I think. We’ve gotten take out from there once, maybe twice. The Mexican is better than the Chinese, if I recall.

I noticed that sign several days in a row. I thought it sounded good the first couple of days, but may not so much any more. And I’m not sure we’ve ever gotten any Chinese food from that place…but there are so many Chinese/Mexican combo places on Newark that it’s hard to keep them all straight!

A week or more seems to be a long time for a “Today Only” special. Perhaps the one plate of each of those dishes has yet to be purchased. Hmmmm. Chinese-Mexican restaurant. With indoor convenient parking. With a photo of a fox or coyote or dog on the wall. Any implications there? Perhaps not. It seems you and Adrienne certainly have a LOT of restaurant experiences within close walking distances.
