Adrienne likes cherry yogurt, but our grocery store very rarely has a brand that meets her stringent standards. So when it is in stock, we literally dig through the cooler to find them all!

How quickly does one go through that much yogurt?

David

One/day/person would be the general rule, assuming it is the breakfast meal. But I sometimes have cereal instead. I would very much prefer to purchase a large container of it, but they don’t sell it! And Adrienne often times takes it with her as well.

What are the stringent requirements?

David

Taste, I suppose. Beyond that I’d have to let her explain. I just know that:

1. Adrienne likes cherry yogurt
2. There are, at the moment, two brands of cherry yogurt that get her approval (yoplait, as pictured, and some other brand that I can’t remember)
3. Our grocery store very rarely has either

Adrienne

It’s really a mix of taste and texture. I really hate the “fruit at the bottom” yogurt that is grainy and solid on the top with an unappetizing film over everything. Both varieties of cherry yogurt that I like are from Yoplait – one is the 99% Fat Free pictured above and the other is Yo-Plus. The Yo-Plus is smaller and more expensive but used to be carried at our supermarket. They don’t seem to stock it anymore. I’ve tried the Fat Free versions, but like anything that is fat free, sugar free, sodium free, it’s not very good.

I think I’ve given this way too much thought! But the bottom line is that I don’t like to spend money on food that I don’t enjoy, so when they’ve got the brand I like, why not stock up? And if they don’t have it, there’s always greek yogurt, which is also tasty.
