Took a walk tonight to the A&P tonight to return a cart that was deposited near our house (not the first time). Had a craving for some chocolate milk, so Hannah and I went down the coffee and tea aisle to pick up some Nesquik. First saw the 25% less sugar stuff and immediately diverted my gaze to see this:
Got home, cracked ‘er open and thought the mix looked crumblier than normal. But this was from a store that didn’t have pumpkin 2 days before Thanksgiving, so I figured maybe it was just old and settled. It wasn’t until I tasted it did I look at the container.
Ah crap. I was crushed! So I figured a liitle DIY..
But it’s not the same, and the aftertaste is rather gross. It may just go in the garbage. Sigh.

Which is a drag, since the tub is only a 4-pounder, so there’s always leftover in the bag to store until you use some. Go figure.

This is the formula you give your kids when you want to discourage them from drinking chocolate milk.

Can’t replicate that high-fructose corn syrup taste!
