Blueberries and babies: messy going in, messy coming out.

I’m probably late to the game on this one, but this morning I whipped up some regular oatmeal (Quaker 5 minute oats plus milk on the stovetop) and in the last minute added hot chocolate mix (ghirardelli double chocolate), some peanut butter and just a little confectioner’s sugar. I believe that is what some would call, “kicking it up a notch!”

Charlie’s spending Halloween at the vet, who’s keeping an eye on her post- bladder biopsy surgery today. The biopsy was ‘normal’ and she’s reportedly doing fine, but I’m still wishing our crazy little furball were home instead of at a sleepover with Dr. Samson!

Anyone else notice that the ‘New and Improved’ Swiss Miss Milk Chocolate Hot Chocolate mix is decidedly not improved/better? Now it has a funny medicinal aftertaste. Time to start exploring other brands or making my own (though I never was a huge fan of the one make-your-own hot chocolate mix I know).

Just signed up for an online account with Verizon Enterprise business support. These were the following available password hint questions:

Is it just me, or are these terrible questions? Not one that I could answer now that might not change in a year’s time once I forget my password. Or perhaps this says something about my personality? (I tend not to have absolute favorites…)

Went to the store last night to get some provisions, and off all the things there, it was only the bread aisle that was completely picked over. No bread whatsoever. The flour in the baking aisle was still well-stocked. I think to myself: I’m just going to make some anyway. Don’t these people know how easy it is to make bread?

Turned on the ACs tonight. Scoping the long-term forecast, looks like they may be on for a while.
