We’ve determined the tree needs to come down the next day or two, as it’s dropping needles on its own. So Adrienne suggests we take a quick photo with the cats. I’m somewhat embarrassed by the quality of it (out of focus, poor lighting etc.), but I hope you’ll enjoy nonetheless!

Dudley didn’t mind so much, but Celli was eager to return to the new napping spot she found – on top of the fireplace mantle!

Ah, and “the kids” seem so happy to be in the picture. I think it’s a good picture.
Our tree is still doing pretty well, though its time is limited. The rule in the past has been to leave the tree up through Andrea’s birthday, and that’s today. I can hear the clock ticking down…
