To do my part of sharing the Christmas joy, I thought I’d share some outtakes from the traditional family picture. We’re, uh, frugal, so we do this ourselves and thus we get a lot of outtakes. So starting today and leading up to Christmas, I’ll share some each day!

Adrienne recently told me Google’s street view cars have made a second pass by our house – but the first since we’ve been living here. Evidence below.

With the leaves mostly down now, saw this up in the tree. First thought it was a turkey hanging out, but looks to be a nest. Wasp? Anybody know? Should I practice my baseball bat tossing skills (it’s about 20 feet up in the air)?

And every now and then these guys get along in a very sweet way.

With beautiful weather on Friday, we hopped down to nearby Branch Brook Park to check out the cherry blossom trees.

And more and more Mallory is loving jumping up and down in her, uh, jumper thingy.

We’re in Rockford for a Baby shower and general family visits. Saw this/these photo(s) as we got home and the sun set behind the farm structures. Click for bigger version.
