I haven’t heard her albums, but I assume they are very polished. She’s got a good voice, but she’s very young (17 I think) and it shows – she’s just not a mature musician, she very obviously struggles at keeping time etc. And she’s really not jazz, but there you go.
If we do go next year, I will always take free help! Wait, you’re not volunteering? 🙂 This is public radio…
It’s a great festival, even though I’m not much a festival kind of guy. It’s just so much packed so densely, it’s very tiring. Perhaps it wouldn’t be if I weren’t working!

Nikki had a free download on iTunes store a couple of weeks ago. I did not think she was all that bad. Perhaps yo would guess that I’d say this though. I’d be interested in attending the jazz fest some year. Need some help next year? I could serve as your assistant.
